Come celebrate 60 years of CMS at our Diamond Gala and Auction on May 6th!

Spring at CMS means it’s time to get ready for the CMS Auction and Gala! This year we are excited to be celebrating our 60th Anniversary with a night at Alden & Harlow in Harvard Square on Saturday, May 6th. The Gala is an annual party with both live and virtual auctions, as well as other opportunities to donate and raise money for the CMS Scholarship Fund. This is the primary fundraiser for CMS scholarships. It is also a festive night out for grownups and a good chance to meet parents, grandparents, friends of CMS, (adult) alumni, teachers, and staff in a more relaxed and festive setting. Here are some ways to get involved:

• Buy tickets – Early bird pricing good through 4/6! Even if you can’t attend, you can buy tickets for a teacher or staff member.
• Buy an ad in the Auction Book to give a shout out (congratulations, thank-yous, other wishes) to your favorite student, teacher, specialist, graduate, class, or staff member. Have a special skill you can share with others?
• Offer a class or experience as an auction item! Have season tickets? Seats to a game / show / event are great auction items. Own or work for a business that may be willing to donate auction items – let the committee know!
• Are you a regular at a local business? On a first-name basis with a chef? Barista has your order memorized? – see if they are willing to donate gift cards to the auction! Do you love party planning, fundraising, or just want to be more involved?
• Join the planning committee! Contact the auction committee at gala@cambridgemontessori.org with questions, donations for the auction, or auction ideas!
