Cambridge Montessori School was founded on the vision, dedication, and philanthropic commitment of a handful of families who envisioned a school where children are at the center. CMS families are engaged in the community and share their time, talent, and resources generously. As we look back over the past 60 plus years, we are grateful to the past and present members of our community who have supported the school. Your gifts have helped to create the vibrant learning environments that support Montessori teaching at CMS.
As a non-profit organization, CMS is funded solely through tuition fees and contributions. Like most independent schools, the cost of tuition does not cover our annual operating costs. We strive to keep our tuition rates as low as possible to keep our doors open as wide as possible. We rely on the generosity of our entire extended community to help cover this gap between tuition and the schools’ operating costs.

Cambridge Montessori School is an independent, non-profit, tax-exempt organization that receives no public funding. Each gift, no matter the size, is important. All gifts to CMS are tax deductible. CMS’s fiscal year runs from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024.
