Extended Programs

Before School

Before School Care is available on school days from 7:30AM. Toddler and Primary students participate in our Early Care Program in the Rainbow Room at the Toddler/Primary building. Our ELMS students who enroll in before school care will attend our BOKS program, a before school play and physical activity program aimed to give students a boost at the start of their day in the gym. Advanced registration is available by season, as well as drop in if space permits.

Drop ins should be confirmed, and should be arranged via email with as much advance notice as possible. Drop in requests can be email to: passport@cambridgemontessori.org

Extended Day

Extended Day is our after school care program. It is designed to be a natural extension of the school day. A typical afternoon in Extended Day includes snack, circle, playground time, and an indoor choice time. A variety of activities, such as games, songs, stories, cooking, and art, are planned weekly by staff members. Extended Day is available on all full school days (defined as days on which the Montessori academic program ends at 3/3:15PM).

Advanced registration by season is available, as well as drop ins if space permits. Drop ins must be confirmed, and should be arranged via email with as much advance notice as possible to the Extended Program Director (passport@cambridgemontessori.org). Please note that due to limited availability, drop ins must be confirmed before use!

Primary and Elementary Programs run from 3-6PM.

Toddler Programs run from 3-5:30PM.

Clubs provide an opportunity for students to discover or expand upon their individual interests. Passport facilitates three seasons of clubs during the school year. Clubs are led by CMS teachers and specialists from the local community, and run on varying schedules, with most running from 3:00-4PM for Primary students, and 3:15-4:30PM for Elementary/Middle School on their scheduled day. Some of our clubs use the CMS buses to go to lessons at local organizations. Detailed registration information and club descriptions are posted before the start of each new session. Spaces are filled on a first-come, first- serve basis as space permits.

Fun Days

Fun Days are full and half day programs available for CMS students on select professional development and parent/teacher conference days. These days are thoughtfully planned by our Passport staff with a variety of age appropriate activities, games, and projects. Passport Fun Days include snacks, stories, art projects, group activities and playground time.
