Passport Vacation Camp and Summer Camp Registrations Are Now Open!
In our tenth summer, Passport is eager to provide exciting and dynamic programming for CMS students and children from the surrounding community. This year, Passport will be offering ten weeks of summer camp, as well as a four-day vacation camp in February and again in April.
Summer Camp: June 15th - August 21st 9:00am-4:00pm
Vacation Camp: February 17th - 20th, April 21st - 24th 8:30am-4:00pm
*Extended Day is available as an add on for both camp programs, and will run until 5:30PM.
Early Care is available for Summer Camp ONLY.
The first week of camp (called "Pre-Camp") is open to Upper Elementary and Middle School CMS students only. It will be run by Alex Tzelnic, our Athletics Director. Campers will spend lots of time outside, in sports clinics, on hikes, and exploring Cambridge.
The next eight weeks are open to campers aged 21 months - 14 years of age. Passport is offering an academic Montessori Morning program at both the Primary and Elementary levels, traditional day camp programming for campers 21 months - 8 years of age, and two new leadership development programs for campers 9 - 14 (Outdoor Adventure weeks 1-4 and Emerging Leader weeks 5-8). Our traditional camp age groups this year will be Lower Camp for toddlers aged 21 months-2.9 years, Middle Camp for campers 3-5 years of age, and Upper Camp for campers aged 6-8. Activities will include swimming, field trips, special visitors, athletics, music, dance, art, and nature exploration to name a few! English Immersion workshops and support will also be available for our many international campers. Early Care and Extended Day are available these weeks, as space permits.
Our final week of camp, Community Camp, is open to campers 4 and up (with an additional adventure program for 9-14 year olds). Campers will spend each day off campus on a different field trip. All Community Campers will need to be independently toilet trained, capable of handling multiple transitions and different environments, and able to make it through a successful day of camp without a scheduled nap. All age groups will be combined and space will be extremely limited!
Passport is now offering an outdoor adventure program for Upper Elementary and Middle School CMS students and friends for February vacation (and possibly April). Campers will travel to Noble View Outdoor Center in Russell, MA for two nights and three days of winter camp activities, in partnership with the AMC's Youth Opportunities Program, facilitated by Alex Tzelnic. These campers also have the option to Rock & Bowl on Friday.
Traditional vacation camp programming is open to Toddler, Primary and Elementary students. These four-day weeks will include special crafts, cooking projects and games as well as a field trip each week for our primary and elementary campers, all of which will tie into the theme. February Vacation Camp will be all about Ancient Worlds and cultures, April about Our World and the Cambridge community. Campers have the option to sign up for single days or full weeks of vacation camp. Extended day is also available until 5:30 as space permits. Drop in programming is NOT available for vacation camp, so please be sure to sign up in advance.
Families that attend at least three days of either vacation camp will also receive a 5% discount on their summer registrations, attend both and receive 10% off! Discounts will be applied following the completion of both vacation camps.
