Head's Corner, November 25, 2014

November 25, 2014

Greetings CMS Families,

I trust that you and your loved ones are well. As we prepare for one of America’s favorite holidays, I am doing my best to reflect on those things for which  I am eternally grateful. In the past month I have experienced joy and pain and life and loss.  I’m sure my journey is no different than anyone else’s. It is simply the cycle of life. However, as my husband, son (sans our three daughters) and I prepare to drive ten hours to spend Thanksgiving with family and friends, I am reminded of just how blessed we are to have love, good health, shelter and the ability to purchase and prepare the ingredients for a feast that will feed a multitude of families for several days.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I am thankful to be a part of the CMS community where children are at the center and there is no shortage of love. I often express my love through writing. I have shared one of my favorite Head’s Corner reflections that celebrates the spirit of Thanksgiving . On behalf of the entire CMS faculty, staff and administration I wish you and your family a happy and safe Thanksgiving.

Warm regards,

Ingrid
