What do you love most about CMS?
I love the immediate feeling of community and support that I felt amongst the staff and families as soon as I started working here.

I love to spend time with friends and family and be outdoors in the warmer weather. And I love read!

Tell us one fun fact that people might not know about you.
One of my hobbies is to "transforming" old clothing by cutting and sewing it into something new!

Doug Dziedzic, Elementary and Middle School Program Director

What is your role here at CMS?
I am the Program Director for Elementary and Middle School here at Cambridge Montessori School.

What do you love most about CMS?
With my role encompassing grades 1 through 8, I have the great pleasure of observing students from 6 to 14 years old. I love having the chance to watch the incredible growth and change that students experience throughout these years of life.

When you're not at CMS, how do you like to spend your time?
I am the proud dad of a five-year-old named Emelia and a two-year-old named Eleanor. When I am not at CMS, I love to spend as much time as possible with my girls. My family is what grounds me and brings me tremendous joy in life.

Tell us one fun fact that people might not know about you!
I am not only new to the Boston area, but ten years ago I had never been to Boston in my life. I visited Boston for the first time on December 10, 2004, and that visit took me to my current partner, Jen's, apartment on Norris St. in Cambridge, MA. I would not have believed, back then, that ten years later I would be working half a mile from where I first landed in Boston. And I couldn't be happier!
