Festival of Lights

This year's Festival of Lights was kicked off by delicious homemade food offerings, world music, arts and crafts and conversation. Parents and children gathered in the Elementary Gym to celebrate a common winter holiday theme: light. Children engaged in wax candle making, creating paper candles and collaborating to build a paper chain long enough to span the entire gym space! It was a lively event, enjoyed by adults and children alike. To close the evening, a current parent read winter holiday story. Thanks to all who joined in on the fun!
