Electronics Recycling Event!

FREE ELECTRONICS RECYCLING MAY 27 - DROPOFF STARTING MAY 24
Spring cleaning? Upgrading your home technology? Drop off your unwanted electronic devices for FREE recycling by environmentally and socially responsible disposal firm Metech, in partnership with CMS's GreenUp FAST Committee.
When: Drop anytime from Monday, May 24th until the morning of Thursday, May 27th, when Metech will be picking up.
What: Metech accepts almost all electronics for recycling except large appliances like washing machines, stoves, AC Units, and refrigerators. If you plan to bring a large number of items please contact us first.
Where: By the door of the "Back Bay" (white storage structure) across from the front entrance to the CMS Elementary School Building at 129 Sherman Street.
Why: Discarded electronics can pose health hazards to people and the environment. Metech is an E-Stewards Program Certified recycler, ensuring that your old devices do not contribute to the global E-waste crisis.
